What is the Coronavirus?

According to Florida Health, "COVID-19 (coronavirus) is an illness caused by a virus that can spread from person to person. The virus that causes COVID–19 is a new coronavirus that has spread throughout the world. COVID-19 symptoms can range from mild (or no symptoms) to severe. " Symptoms include dry cough, fever, difficulty breathing, headache, loss of taste and smell, nausea, and fatigue (CDC).


Who is At Risk?

While everyone can get the coronavirus, some demographics are more susceptible to severe complications is infected. This includes the elderly and people with preexisting conditions (CDC).


How Can We Prevent the Spread?

Taking measures like washing hands frequently, wearing a mask, and maintaining a safe distance can decrease the risk and spread of the virus. Please refer to the infographic above for more measures you can take to keep yourself and those around you safe.


A portion of proceeds from our COVID-19 bracelet is donated to Feeding America to help families affected by the pandemic. Many families have been laid off and lost their main sources of income. They are struggling to provide for their families financially and keep food on the table.
